About

The London Tech Ecosystem Map is a student-led academic project that maps organisations and stakeholders across London's innovation ecosystem. It is developed at the postgraduate campus of Hult International Business School in London for teaching, learning, and research purposes.

Information and profiles are based on student research and are provided for educational purposes only. Inclusion in the Map does not imply endorsement, recommendation, or affiliation by Hult International Business School unless explicitly stated.

Academic supervision and contributing cohorts

The project is supervised by Dr David Lehmann, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Hult International Business School’s postgraduate campus in London. Academic supervision is supported by Anders Bjornberg, Senior Assistant Dean, and Brandon Beckford, Program Coordinator.

Students enrolled on the following London modules during academic year 2025–26 contributed research, entries, and reviews to this directory:

  • Navigating Entrepreneurial Ventures & Business Strategies in LondonLON1 (London, Summer Two 2026)
  • Navigating Entrepreneurial Ventures & Business Strategies in LondonLON2 (London, Summer Two 2026)
  • New Product DevelopmentLON1 (London, Summer Two 2026)
  • New Product DevelopmentLON2 (London, Summer Two 2026)

How listings are produced

Organisation profiles are compiled from publicly available sources (for example official websites, registers, and professional directories) as well as primary research such as surveys and interviews. Students propose and edit entries; moderators review and decide what is published.

Anyone may suggest a correction, flag a concern, or request removal via the forms linked from the map. We aim to respond to legitimate requests promptly.

Disclaimer

Content on this website is provided for general information and education only. We use reasonable care when compiling entries, but we do not warrant that information is complete, accurate, or up to date.

Inclusion of an organisation, person, or link does not imply endorsement, partnership, investment advice, or recommendation. Where professional roles or affiliations of individuals appear, they are shown for identification in context only.

Privacy notice (UK GDPR)

This notice explains how personal data is processed when you use this website. It applies to visitors, listed parties, and registered student contributors.

Data controller

Hult International Business School Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through this platform. The supervised project team processes data on the controller's instructions for academic directory and moderation purposes.

What we process

  • Directory entries: limited professional information about people associated with featured organisations (for example name and role), drawn from public sources.
  • Student accounts: name, Hult email address, role, and activity related to drafting and reviewing entries.
  • Public forms: contact details and messages you submit when suggesting organisations, edits, or removals.
  • Technical data: approximate usage metrics via privacy-oriented analytics (see Cookies below).

Purposes and lawful bases

  • Academic research and teaching (mapping innovation ecosystems) — legitimate interests, balanced against individuals' rights.
  • Operating contributor accounts and moderation workflows — legitimate interests and, where applicable, performance of educational services to enrolled students.
  • Handling public correction and removal requests — legitimate interests; consent where you provide optional contact details beyond what is needed to handle your request.

Sources and recipients

Directory information comes from publicly available sources unless you submit it through a form. Data is stored and processed using Supabase (hosting and authentication) and may be served via Vercel (application hosting). These providers act as processors under appropriate contractual safeguards. Some processing may occur outside the UK; where it does, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms.

Retention

Published directory data is kept while it remains accurate and relevant to the project. Student account data is retained for the academic project period and deleted or anonymised when no longer required for teaching, assessment, or audit. Form submissions are kept only as long as needed to resolve the request.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability where applicable. Contact us at registrar.london.pg@hult.edu. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (for example page views). This is intended to be privacy-preserving and does not use third-party advertising cookies. You can limit non-essential tracking through your browser settings.
